Fortune 1000 Company Relocating to Phoenix
Carlisle Companies Incorporated, a $5.5 billion global diversified manufacturer, announced that it will relocate its Corporate Headquarters this year to Phoenix, Arizona.
“Phoenix will position us closer to many of our major customers, our employees on the West Coast and in Mexico, and provide us better access to our Asia Pacific markets,” Koch said.
Carlisle’s relocation is expected to be completed by the end of 2016. The company expects its offices in Phoenix to be “up and running” by late summer. In a corporate filing, Carlisle said its move will help “streamline administrative functions and coordinate its global strategy.”
Carlisle is a Fortune 1000 company that divides business into five segments: Construction materials interconnect technologies, fluid technologies, brake and friction systems, and food service products.
“I am extremely pleased to welcome Carlisle to Arizona,” Gov. Doug Ducey said in a statement. “Carlisle’s decision to relocate their corporate headquarters to Arizona not only speaks volumes about our state’s pro-business environment, skilled workforce and quality of life, it is a clear signal of Arizona’s competitive edge.”
“Carlisle’s selection of Arizona for their Corporate Headquarters demonstrates that our state is the ideal location for doing business,” said Sandra Watson, Arizona Commerce Authority President/CEO. “We are proud of the collaborative effort with Governor Ducey and our partners to recruit this industry leader to Arizona. This project is a significant investment in our state and we thank Carlisle for their confidence in and commitment to Arizona.”
