The Phoenix area continues to grow at a quick pace and a recent study has shown that this growth is some of the fastest seen in the nation.  Zippia a career expert website studied all 303 cities in the U.S. with a population of at least 100000 for their report. Surprise Arizona (just outside of Phoenix) ranked #7 on their list for the country’s fastest growing cities.  The growth rate used to rank cities was based off of the years 2010 to 2014 which is the most recently available data.  The Phoenix area is on the top 10 list of fastest growing cities in the nation!

Founded in 1929 Surprise has transformed itself from the sleepy little farming community it was into a growing city that has drawn the notice of Money magazine which placed Surprise at the top of its national job growth list.

One reason for this growth is Sun City Grand a Del Webb active adult community that has called for about 10000 homes.

Surprise is also experiencing growth in the business retail and services sectors and has annexed land north of the White Tank Mountains to link up with the city of Buckeye.
