We are Valley Metro the regional public transportation agency providing coordinated transit services to residents of metro Phoenix. This includes the cities of Tempe Mesa Scottsdale Chandler Gilbert Avondale and many others. We provide more than 513 square miles of coverage from regional bus light rail and paratransit service to variety of alternative commuter solutions like carpooling vanpooling and biking. Valley Metro’s official mission is to develop and operate a network of transit services. But really we simply want to help residents like you get where you need to go as easily efficiently and as sustainably as possible.
Now that you know who we are here’s why your timing is so perfect. We just launched two new products that will help you move about the Valley with ease.
First and foremost is our updated website located at valleymetro.org. Completely redesigned to work smoothly on mobile devices and desktops alike it is easier than ever to navigate and includes improved trip-planning features with more refined accuracy. No matter your favorite routes and destinations we’ve made sure your ride information is as accessible as possible. Go ahead and bookmark the site to plan your next trip. You can even use the site to learn more about our long-term strategic transportation plan or our new Respect the Ride campaign to learn more about Valley Metro.
Need more proof you’re in the right place at the right time? We’ve also just re-launched our Ridekick® app giving you yet another way to plan all of your trips.
